The Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region is in the south east of France. It is composed of the departments of Alpes-de-Haute-Provence (04), Hautes-Alpes (05), Alpes-Maritimes (06), Bouches-du-Rhône (13), Var (83) and Vaucluse (84).
In this region where temperatures remain high for a large part of the year, there are a multitude of carp fishing ponds. In particular the mythical lake of Saint-Cassien, which is no doubt the most famous lake in the world of carp fishing, in France and abroad.
Carp anglers who practice their hobby in this region all know the Mediterranean climate, the melodious accent of its inhabitants and the early mornings sound of the cicadas.
