Located in the Cher (18), the Nauticarp complex is a prime destination for No-Kill carp fishing enthusiasts, renowned in the Centre region for its well-stocked carp ponds. Among its three lakes, the Furet Pond stands out for its exceptional fishing potential, with carp reaching up to 30 kg (66 lbs). A former fish farm, this 10-hectare (24.7-acre) pond with reed-lined banks attracts anglers seeking trophy carp in an authentic setting. Shallow, with depths ranging from 1.5 to 2 m (4.9–6.6 ft), its varied mud and sand bottom provides a nutrient-rich habitat, allowing carp to gain 1.5 to 5 kg (3.3–11 lbs) per year thanks to a plentiful natural diet of snails, crayfish, and woody debris.
Furet Pond is especially popular in winter, thanks to its topography and the nature of its bottom, providing memorable takes for both experienced and beginner anglers. For a comfortable fishing experience, the site offers toilets, electricity, refrigerator, freezer, showers, and a carp shop stocked with essential gear such as weights and boilies. This unique pond is perfect for a No-Kill carp fishing session in a pristine natural environment.
