Anglers have access to a sanitary chalet equipped with a toilet, shower, refrigerator, microwave, and electricity. Spacious 32 m² fishing platforms provide maximum comfort for truly memorable fishing sessions.
At the Étangs d’Emlo, fishing is carefully regulated to preserve both the environment and fish welfare. Only carp fishing is permitted, and the use of bait boats, rowing boats, and zodiacs is allowed—life jackets are mandatory to ensure everyone’s safety on the water.
All fishing gear and bivvies must be installed within your assigned swim, following the marked fishing zones, especially at swims 4 and 5 where an overhead power line runs nearby. To maintain a balanced fishing environment, each angler may use up to three rods—or four rods when sharing a swim with another angler.
All rigs must be safe and allow the carp to free themselves easily. Only barbless hooks up to size 2 are permitted. The staff reserves the right to inspect rigs at any time, day or night. Braided mainlines are strictly prohibited on the venue. All particles must be properly cooked, and the use of animal baits is not allowed.
Every angler is required to use a large, well-moistened unhooking mat (135×90) and a fine-mesh landing net to ensure the carp’s safety. Retention sacks are not allowed, and all fish must be returned to the water swiftly and with care. Photo sessions should be brief—keep a bucket of water nearby to keep your catch wet and healthy. If you step away from your swim, please remove your rods from the water. To maintain the lake’s natural balance, we also ask that anglers bait responsibly.
